Since 1972, the Helen L. Diller Vacation Home for Blind Children has been providing blind and visually impaired children with a one-week, all-expense paid seashore vacation. Many of these children come from homes with limited financial means so our organization provides the experience to them at no cost.
Ranging in age from 7-20, a stay at ‘The Home’ gives our campers a chance to make friends with those who face similar challenges each day. It is also a chance to feel the warm sand on their toes, the cool ocean crashing against their legs, or engage in the thrill of a boat ride in the bay, with many experiencing it for the first time.
